Beotalk 1200 telephone answering machine

Does anyone know if this device has a memory back up battery please?

I have a Beotalk 1200 that seems to have lost it's outgoing message and phone book!

I am assuming you mean the Beotalk 1200 looses its outgoing messages and phone book on power failure?

Only the clock has to be set again after a power failure. The BeoTalk 1200 remembers all outgoing announcements and incoming messages as well as stored entries in the lists. If it does not then you may have a fault.

Thanks for info Keith.I'm just surprised that so sophisticated a machine has no powerfail back-up.
