Hi I have recently brought a Beocenter 7000 from ebay. It looks in great condition and everything seems to be there as it should be. The only thing that is missing is the mains flex its been cut off very close to the back of the unit so its not possible to re connect it. Just wondering if anyone nos if i need to dismantle the bottom or the top of the unit to be able to access where the power cord gos into the unit or access where the cables join up to the power supply inside ? I have been sold it on a spares / repairs base and I really really want to power it up to see if it works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks,
Lewis
You access everything in all Beocenters of this type from above. But - and don't get me wrong - if you cannot find out how to access the mains cord inside, do you think, you are the right person to replace it ? After all, this is a critical job when it comes to personal safety and fire hazards.Get the service manual. It's available for download from our main websitefor silver and gold members (well worth the small membership fee).
