Hi,

I'm replacing our old sagem freesat box and recorder with a Humax HDR110s. I've plugged the HDMI cable in and have a great picture but no sound.

I notice that the old HDMI cable from the Sagem goes into a scart adaptor as there is no HDMI slot on the TV so have done the same.

There is also another scart cable from the sage unit to the back of the Beovision 7 TV and I suspect that this is how you get sound. However there is no scart socket on the new freesat box.

I've tried phono cables from the human to the tv to no avail.

Apart from buying a new Beovision 7 with hdmi slot any suggestions as to how to get sound would be most welcome?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Audio out from Humax (red and white) into a Scart adaptor plug (that connects to the scart in where the cable of the sagem was) and activate analog sound output in the Humax settings.
