Hello again. This is my second post on this forum.

I have just bought a stylus for my Beogram 1202 from an old electronics repair man . He had a new old stock SP 12 , he also threw in for no extra charge a rusty old SP 6-7 and a used SP 10.

The stylus that came with my record player had a SP14 but the tip was missing from the stylus , though the cantilever looks intact.

I'm using the rusty SP 6-7 because it sounds great  and it's very sharp still. I want to save the NOS SP12 for good. The SP 10 cuts in and out

Question , can I get a B&O stylus fixed ?

Thanks in advance

Christian

You can and it is possible to pick up the styluses NOS from time to time. I would however use the SP12 now - why wait? It is the one designed for the 1202 as an upgrade and has an elliptical diamond. It won't wear out for many years! The SP12 is the best stylus made for your deck really so enjoy it!

If the SP10 cuts in and out, why not try the stylus on the body of the SP14? The body is separate to the sleeve - loosen the screw and it pulls off.
