I have a set of Beovox Pentas and a Beomaster 6500 I was wondering can I use both the front and rear right together and Both front and rear left left speaker outs to power the pentas as in doubling the power on each side? Or will that just short out the amps just curious I know some amps you can some you can't but didn't know if the 6500 could do that.

The Beomaster 6500 is a stereo receiver, not quad,so the two sets of speaker sockets are simply driven by the same amplifier. The second set of sockets is intended for 'speakers say,in another room or as part of a B&O link system.

If you need more power to drive the Beovox Penta's more towards their full capacity, you will need a "slave" amplifier, preferably connected to the "powerlink" sockets of the Beomaster.

Steve at Sounds Heavenly, can supply suitable cables to adapt to third party power amp's,or alternatively you could look for a pair of Beolab 150 amplifiers, which are the dedicated amplifiers from the Beolab Penta's in stand alone form.
