I was thinking of getting an A1 and use it mainly as a speaker phone for my computer, when in a conference call in a room with several people. Has anybody used an A1 in such a setup? I am not sure if it will work decently, since the mic is on one side of the unit.

Your thought are welcome.

It is ok, but I am sure there are better devices for conference calls.

I think the volume is too low when using with phone calls.

I found with Cisco Webex when directly connected the mic isn't recognised - with bluetooth it works ok most of the time but is not consistently fine. Used as a bluetooth speaker only it is great. The other annoying thing is that it swicthes off after half an hour -so you have to switch it back on reconnect etc.

Works great for me.   It is the primary way that I make calls now in my home office, and no one on the other end has ever complained or even mentioned anything about me being on a speaker phone.
