Hello,

New member here! I have had my B&O system for a few years. It has a few issues but the one that is the most prevelent is the couple with the Beogram.

1. At the end of 50% of the records, it will not return to dock.

2. Towards the end of all records, there is a low frequency noise based on RPMs. The next time this happens, I will include a video on this thread. I am listening to it currently so soon I would imagine.

I do not know much about the system from a maintenance standpoint but I am an electrical engineer and am somewhat mechanically inclined. I feel like these two issues can be adjusted out and that they are directly related. Any assistance will be appreciated!

Thanks guys and gals!

I will check them but I think that they are. The unit has done this through two moves so I doubt that I missed releasing them twice but it is possible. Thanks for the reminder.

Excuse my ignorance but I am not familiar with the leaf springs or the procedure needed to adjust. Can you point me to a procedure?

The leaf springs are the suspension devices that allow the mechanism to "float".They are accessable through the top plate under the platter, but DON't GO THERE!

The transit screws are large head recessed types in the underside of the unit, and marked as such.

If the suspension springs have been inadvertently adjusted, the whole mech will need to be realigned.
