Hello all!

What would be the best way to connect a Beosound 9000 to a BeoPlay S8?

Thanks in advance!

The best is a powerlink to RJ45 adaptor cable. I got mine from Steve at sounds heavenly. That way you can have the auto trigger work right. I never found a placement setup I liked though but they sound great together. I think if I found a set of Beolab 14 table stands that could look nice on a long table or tall stands with a wallmount bs9000.

The set up you have looks pretty good, and I bet it sounds amazing. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with my 9000.  I found a pretty good deal on a pair of Beolab 6000s, but I have been hearing that people who have the S8 love it.  Have you had a pair of 6000s?  If so, what would you say about the two potential setups?

I've never had a BL6000 or BL8000 so I can't compare.

I ran the BS9000 through ml/mcl converter and no matter what passive speakers i used, it sounded lousy.

I have an ml/MCL converter with mine as well and I agree.  That's why I am considering the 6000s or the S8.  But you are happy with your S8 system? How is the subwoofer? I am a rock guy so I like a little extra bass...

The S8 is pretty fantastic. Ideal for rock and movies. The sub was way too powerful for my apartment too fully enjoy.
