Hi!

Is it possible to link both Phono (beogram 4500 i want to control around the house) but also link N-radio (then together with N-music)? They having the same code on Beo4 as I understand.

Any option like tape1 and tape2 perhaps?

Maybe this has been taken up before at some forum...

A solution that I have used is to program a Lintronic code-converter to convert the A.Aux code to Phono and hide the BeoMaster that drives the BeoGram away in a cabinet so that it only receives the converted Phono command. Then, I run the audio into the Aux input of my BeoSound 5.

Another (yet quite costly) solution is to use a BeoLink NL/ML Converter to re-map the Phono code as another code.

Thank you Jeff. Yes, the solution with beolink converter is interresting, i also want to control my Beogram 4500 from beo4 from all rooms, maybe not necessary with n-radio while i´m not using that so often.. But N.music is a must..

It´s very cool to control the beogram 4500 from Beolink app, in the garden or everywhere in the house, and also be able to step forward on the record itself..

What B&O products do you have in your setup? Are you using a BeoSound 5 with a BeoSystem 4500? Since you mention using the BeoLink app, it sounds like you have a BLGW connected. I don't think you'll be able to control both the BeoGram and N.Radio with a Beo4 in every room using standard B&O source commands -- but you COULD do this with LIGHT or CONTROL commands with a Beo4. The BeoLink converter will connect the Audio Master that's connected to it as a second Master Link system. The two ML systems cannot communicate with each other by way of a B&O remote. HOWEVER, the BLGW can bridge the two ML systems together in a roundabout way via NL. You can create macros in the BLGW to act on ML audio sources that are seen as an audio source on the NL device. You might want to take a look at my recent thread in the Home Automation forum discussing ways to create macros for control by third party devices such as Lutron keypad buttons. You could also create macros to control the BeoGram by using the LIGHT or CONTROL commands as triggers in the BLGW. The colored Buttons on the Beo4 might be used for advancing the BeoGram stylus forward and back.

I have a second Beolink Converter arriving in a few days to do the very same thing to integrate a BeoGram 9500. I will report back!
