Hi all

I had all my Beocom 6000s upgraded to Mk2, so I should be set for the next ten years.

Now one of them has developed a silent wheel syndrome. When I turn the wheel there are no clicks. I searched through the menus and on the web, but could not find any way to turn the clicks back on.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks a lot

It's most likely that the speaker plug has come unplugged or one of the speaker wires has broken as below.

You will need to remove the back of the phone and check it

Thanks for the suggestions,

I get dial tone and I can make calls without any issues. That would indicate that the speaker is not the culprit. Or am I getting something wrong here?

My Statement remains true. The speaker on the back cover is not used for making calls.

The phone will allow calls to be made even if the back cover is not in place.

Thanks Keith,

that makes sense. I will try to open the phone and get the rear speaker fixed.
