Hello, I have BEOCENTER 7000 with a pair of Beovox S75 speakers. I noticed that on one speaker bass dont work at all . I try to switch cables on center to check but it doesent help.So I take the conclussion that something is wrong with the speaker. If you have any idea how to check the speaker please let me know...thank you, Mirko

Compare the bass unit with the one that works. Do both push in easily(they should) If the one doesn't, you have a slipped magnet and it will need repairing - I plan to post a thread about this with pictures in the next week!

I try this, but it seems that both membranas move the same. I try the gentle push and both seems to move the same ...Then I turn on the music and  set up maximum base on center. One base is not working at all.

Take out the woofer (bass driver) and check its connections.

Yes, and you may have to use a little force to brake it loose from the cabinet

connection was checked - the black cable was little loosened from the cable holder on the speaker crown. I fix that with glue, but this was not fault. Sad

I try to see if the cables are fixed, and seems that cables are OK. Input plastic are fixed cables are firmly connected.. I gently close everything back , not to do some more damage Huh?.

Unhook the speaker from the amplifier and put an ohmmeter across the woofer terminals.
A DC resistance below 8-10 Ohms is to be expected on a good woofer.
