I have a Beosystem 6500, but to start the Beogram or Beocord playing I need to press 'PHONO' or 'TAPE' on the MCP 6500.
The Radio and CD I can control from my BeO4.
Is it possible to customise my BeO4 to enable it to switch the Beogram and Beocord on ?
If so, how?
Hi Danny,
If you have a newer Beo4 without the Tape or Phono buttons, please use N.RADIO instead of PHONO (press the LIST buttons until the display shows N.RADIO, then press GO) and the A.MEM button instead of A.TAPE.
Almost all older B&O commands are still accessible in this way, with a new button that sends the same signal on newer remotes.
Kind regards, Steve.
PS. Love the car in your picture!
Steve.

Hi Steve, thanks for that.
Car ordered whilst at Ferrari factory - cost a fortune - paint was extra £10,000!! Couldn't stand the flappy paddles and other stupid electronic gadgets - ie. it bleeped like a UPS truck when you reversed!!
Sold it after 12 months with just 500 miles on the clock - lost enough money to buy a Porsche!
Hard lesson, well learned!
That sounds like a painful experience - I guess my dream of saving up for a Ferrari 458 is best to just stay as a dream.....
If you need any help with the B&O system, feel free to ask!
