Hi!
Just had my MK2 BS9000 (got it new in 2000) for service and it ended up with a new laser. Second time now I got it replaced, and the service guy wasn´t impressed over the previous work (wrong screws etc.) The shop who did the first job is out of business since several years, so nothing to do there.
I sent BS9000 to service becuase it behaved strange. CD often got stucked, the BS turned it self off sometimes, ML didn´t always work, BS started often on radiostation nr 1, instead of the station we used when we turned it off.
New laser and it has been running in the service location for two weeks, and worked 100 % (CD, radio and ML). Brought it home and it now works correct in the living room with BL8000. But not with ML in the rest of the room. The only thing I can do through ML is to turn off the BS9000 (with a long standby press), and also the clock on BL3500 was automatically corrected after the time set on BS9000.
I can't get any source or command from ML speakers (2*BL2000, BL3500 and BV1), not by buttons, neither by Beo4. I can't choose TV on BS9000 (from LX5500). Just like it was no connection at all.
As it worked in the service shop I guess the fault is in my place:
Something happened with the ML cables or junction boxes
Well, I have a lot of work ahead as I've got cables and junction boxes all over the house (attic, basement and walls). Any special pin to check in the junction boxes?
Something happened when I connected the BS9000
I've read that you shall be cautious when connecting and disconnecting ML cables, but in fact I've done this so many times without any problems before (including moving homes four times).
I will call the service guy and ask if he can help (not in person as I have 100+ km to the service shop. I will also disconnect all ML and reconnect them one by one to see if I cant locate any fault.
Any clues and/or tips for what to check?
Is the right option put, or was this changed?? , audiomaster?

I will check. Thanx!
Well, back on track! But I don't know how.
Started with disconnecting of all ML products from ML, and tested to connect one at the time. No luck, until I got to BL3500. The TV command on Beo4 started the CD (!), and then I could listen to CD on every link speaker (by pressing TV). Only thing I could do was to start CD (and thereby CD 1) and change volume up and down. Couldn't change track or CD, couldn't paus CD.
I then put BS9000 in audio option 2, and now at least TV command worked as it should. On all link speakers and on BS9000 I could activate my old LX5500, hidden in the cellar connected to an Airport express (which give me AirPlay all over the house). But CD and radio still didn't work at all over ML.
I gave up and went to bed, and woke up to radio! The timer had activated BL2000 in the kitchen, and voila, everything now works properly!
Strange, but I guess the system just needed some time to get up again after the two weeks of vacation.
