Do you mean that you are wanting to connect an xbox to a Beovision MX8000 tv?

If so,you will need to program the inputs to correspond to commands from say a Beolink 1000 remote control,or a Beo4.

Let us know what you are trying to do?

Nick

If you want to use the VTAPE/Decoder SCART socket on the V8000 then you probably need to set up one of the TV channels on the VCR as if it needs a DECODER.  Selecting this channel will then pass the signal through to the TV.

Alternatively, use a SCART to Composite cable and connect the Sega to the Video In sockets on the back of the V8000.  This input is selected by choosing CAMERA from the VCR menu.
