Indeed, id reiterate again how much happier I am with the Avant as my second screen vs the BV14 and the newer globally dimmed panels. The 14 does produce a strong image, but in the end was sceptical whether software updates would address some of the PQ shortcomings.

On to other things - next project is to add a pair of BL3's to the Avant in my bedroom.

No need to do it of course, but when did that ever stop me...
