My BM5 won't boot up properly all of a sudden.  It boots to the prompt to select the OS, and gets past that, but then the screen stays black and the LED on the BS5 starts blinking in a sequence:  three slow blinks, then 3 fast blinks, repeat.  The screen stays black the whole time.

Any idea what that sequence of blinks indicates?

Don't know what this sequence indicates.

Might be another dying mainboard, but hope for you it's something else.

would like to advise you to open the Beomaster and remove the foam from the cover inside. This is added for noise reduction, but unfortunately this also isolates the Beomaster.

The possible cause of the dying mainboards is high temperature, so make sure the Beomaster gets enough ventilation.

Good luck!
