I am looking for two pcs of leaf spring for Beomaster 8000
part# 2816174 (Callout 3036 in the servicemanual parts guide).
That's the flat spring plate that lies under the long black center bar.

Buy or trade.

I'm in way over my head here, but: are these the curved springs that makes the lid stay up?

If so I'll check next weekend if I can find the two I removed from a 8000 some years back.

They are square with a protruding stub at each end.
Slightly curved metal. From memory apprx 4cm long and 12mm wide
Sitting under the slim black center bar with the white lettering on.

Yes, then we're talking about the same thing (my explanation of it was just lacking in every way.)

I think I know where I placed them, so I'll have a look when I'm in my summer house next weekend.

I know I've got them somewhere, but sadly I was unable to find them.

Do you know if the springs are the same on the Beocord 8002? As I've got an unfuctioning one collecting dust I might as well slaughter it and pop the springs your way.

Thanks Robert, but the spring is unique to Beomaster 8000.
The Beocords use a different system.
