Hi - I'm looking at integrating a non B&O preamp in one room - the installing is most likely quite bespoke and I currently use a Lintornic converter to control the quipment from other rooms - however I plan to replace a beolink passive that drives a linn amp with lin preamp and need to be able to control it - at the moment the lintronic box is connected to the Beolink Converter directly - what I wanted to know is instead of the beolink converter being plugged into the lintronic to receive IR commands, I can simply put an IR Emmitter on the end of the lead that goes into the lintronic box and that will emite the signals from the link rooms but also allow local control. The lintronic only allows connection of external or internal input

The question really related to the Beolink converter in that can you simply put an IR emmitter on teh data pins and that will repeat the signals picked up in other rooms? And if so where can I get one that emits 455Khz tried looking on the internet with no luck - any help much appreciated.
