I'm toying up buying a new TV for the kids to watch in a bedroom. I have an LG 32 lcd tv in there at the moment backed up with some Bose speakers.
To be honest the LG has been famously good value for money considering the abuse its had, but id like something smarter looking and that can work with a Beotime. I like the look of the 6-26 alot and there's one down the road new at £1750 and it comes with HDMI slots Or a used 8-32 which obviously matches the LG for size? £1,250
Left field and dare i say it(gulp), there is alway the new range of Loewe Connect ID's as well(built in freeview/HD disk)
Any ideas sudgestions/experiences

Damn Chris that's a hard one!
Shame you can't love the V1 as it's nearly the price of that BV6!!! BV6 is getting a bit old & dated now and whilst I loved mine way back in 2005, i'm not sure now...
Personally not a fan of BV8 and the 32" has that cheaper SHARP screen so not such a good buy.
Maybe they can get a paper round and pay the extra for a 32" BV10!!! That's what I had to do as a kid if I wanted something ;)
Chris mention it to Elephant as I believe he indeed owns a few BV8's. Yes the BV8-40 was an EXCELLENT picture that did indeed have the Samsung screen though. Elephant is the man for this Chris!

I've had both! I used to own the BV8-26 and sold it and swapped it out for the smaller BV6-23. Which TV do I prefer? The BV6. Primarily as it's easier to keep clean, as it has a glass-fronted screen. Looks more solid, feels more solid. Looks more professional, too.
I still think we're mad for considering buying an old 26" TV for close to £2000. Weird isn't it how you could get a Sony 55" for about the same price as an old 26" B&O!
Yes it is mad, but thats fanatics for you. My kids looked at a 3D LG yesterday for about £500, and i grudgingly i have to admit it looked fantastic. It actually made 3D vaguely entertaining with its lightweight passive glasses.
I can't get one though just in case i start looking at my £8,000 10-46 and think....hang on
Anyway back to the rugby.
