No offers yet 😫😫

just recently bought a very cheap ($75) BG8002 without ?? The platter.....that is why I desperately want one - this table seems well worth restoring!

I presume the platter from a BG6002 or TX model should fit as well ?!

please let me know if you are parting out one of these models....

thank you 🤗

Where is the problem ?

thickness ? Marking ?

if it is just the marking.....it wont be seen with a record on.......or did I miss anything here ?

and if, is there a compatible solution at all except a BG8002 platter ??

Beogram TX and 6002 platters have "hollow" undersides to fit the different subplatter.

Thank you for clarifying that !! Quite important to know.

Does that leave practically only the BG6006 and 8002 platter or perhaps a BG8000 one ??

Beogram 6006 and 8000 are identical (less the color of the buttons on the operating panel) and they share platters.
The Beogram 8002 platter is unique. It does not have the raised radial streaks of the 6006/8000 so the record would sit at a wrong height
if platters were swapped.

Thanks Martin,

exactly what I feared all along 😠

So, any offer - if there will be one - has to be a BG 8002 platter !!!
