I have an old Beomaster 2400, Beogram 3404, and a pair of BeoVox S75's that I inherited from my father. I hooked it all up and was amazed that everything still works! And sounds friggin' amazing! The LED light for the Bass on the front panel does not work but the Bass does so that's something I can live with. I used the Beomaster Tape 5 pin DIN port to attached to a Bogen amp RCA output I use to power a multi-zone speaker system at my house so I'm able to cast music (via Audiocast) from my iPhone to the B&O system. BUT...I'd love to be able to play my vinyl collection to the speakers. I'm thinking my only option is to get a 1/4 inch to RCA adapter for the Beomaster headphone jack to the amp RCA input. What sucks is I have a feeling that when I plug it in it will kill the sound to the S75 speakers. Any thoughts y'all?
The tape connection on the Beomaster 2400,is both an input and output, being designed for a tape recorder of course.
You could connect this port to your Bogen multiroom amplifier, and listen to your downloads and vinyl around the house.
Assuming that the Bogen and B&O are close to each other, you could connect a Din to 4xRCA cable between the tape socket of the B&O and one of the line inputs, and the Aux/line output of the Bogen.
Connecting to the headphone socket of the Beomaster is a bit crude, and it will indeed cut out the B&O speakers, unless they are connected to SP2.

Hey solderon29 - Many thanks for the info!! I wasn't aware that port was input/output. Yes, the B&O and the Bogen amp are within a few feet of each other so I just bought a 5' Din to 4 RCA cable. Now everyone around my house will be subjected to my vinyl!
Sadly the cable I bought off Amazon did not work. Apparently the company did not pin out the Din correctly and I'm not the only person to experience this issue. Any ideas where I can buy a proper cable?
The cable you have is not correct for your application. It has -5-pin DIN plug (wired 1 + 4 + 5 + 3) to 4 x RCA plugs. RCA Phono connections.5 Pin DINAV Audio Cable Going clockwise on the image the pin connections are: PIN 1 = BLACK PIN 2 = RED PIN 3 = GROUND PIN 4 = YELLOW PIN 5 = WHITEThat won't work. Get a proper cable from Steve and SoundsHeavenly.com
I believe the Beocord DIN plug (which is what the Beomaster 2400 supports) has this pin out
PIN 1 = Tape In LeftPIN 2 = GroundPIN 3 = Tape Out LeftPIN 4 = Tape In RightPIN 5 = Tape Out Right
Awesome! TY so much sonavor! I just emailed Steve.
Looking at the cable description again I realized they state their pin assignment is going clockwise PIN 1 through PIN 5. If that is really the case then their PIN 3 = DIN standard PIN 2 so the pin assignments would be correct. I wonder if that is really the case.
Here is the Beomaster 2400 Tape DIN jack
If your cable wiring matches the diagram then it should work.
