And the marketing people are left to look at the products with BeoGoogles to find the appeal?

I hope there is a Vision that we cannot see

Without IR passing commands or at least passing them back via a Bluetooth Beoremote1 then interconnectivity may slowly be lost.

It could however be maintained by using apps like Beolink and the X app this might be the way forward and having iPads on walls to use as keypads.

It's more difficult to see the future without seeing the plan at least.

The USP for B&O was lost with the change from physical media etc but never renewed with a clear view of how what forms the new hub of the system; iPad or Moment or the TV?

it's really not clear.

Apple brands itself very well along with everything Apple products present to you. And it's on an LG screen.

Isn't there a choice of hubs.... essence/core, tv, moment?

Exactly , having a choice of hub doesn't make it clear to a newcomer.

I have a moment but not really sure why anymore as the essence / core can do what I need. More than likely I will sell it and get a core.

Maybe some BL5's next year for my kitchen.

How does the Beomusic App compare to the Moments tablet in operation, aesthetics, clarity and B&O 'magic'?

.

Present: BL90, Core, BL6000, CD7000, Beogram 7000, Essence Remote.

Past: BL1, BL2, BL8000, BS9000, BL5, BC2, BS5, BV5, BV4-50, Beosystem 3, BL3, DVD1, Beoremote 4, Moment.

.

The app either of them is much more usable for me

The moment sits there looking nice but I have not touched it in a long time.

It does look amazing when music is playing and the cover art appears.

It is passing back Commands to BLGW which is good.

While I can see using an iPad for controlling Deezer, I just cannot see it for home automation. I never ever use the BeoLink App. When you need to access home automation, you need to be able to do it quickly and intuitively. I need to be able to pick up my B&O remote and press a button with minimal fuss. While I prefer the Beo6, I've even been programming home automation into the BeoRemote One.

This is why I love homecontrol widget that appears on the screen and if I get an avant I get that which keeps me happy.

If i add devices I can make simple changes to heating and lighting right on the TV directly which is cool.

I know eclipse will be passing bavk commands to BLGW from Jan after a future software update but not sure about the on screen widget
