An interesting link to a company that supplies screen technology to B&O....

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

Interesting. Not much is known about the technology used in the V1. I would almost tear mine down just to see what kind of hardware is inside it :). I found this on youtube about this technology from apical.

Perhaps this is why the video lags a bit on the V1, which causes issues when playing games for example.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

That's very interesting. It's great to see that B&O is continually looking to adapt new technologies in its products. At the end of the day the V1 has a very good picture - and something I'm sure will continue to improve with continual investment and to an extent SW updates.
