Beotime and a Beosound 8

When i select V-MEM in the alarm mode on my Beotime, it turns the TV on which in turn starts the Sky box on. Great.

When i select A-MEM in the alarm mode it turns the Beosound 8 on, but it doesn't command a play function. ie it remains paused. 

Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. My radio channels on my tv start after 100 and the beotime only goes upto 99 or 100 can't remember now and I am away at the moment
