Hallo all.

I would like to make a thread about the other brands there is, so is does not disrupt the Eclipse thread.

I bought the LG C7 two weeks ago, and I have returned it again.

Why?

Bad remote,

Not simple to use with my Beolab 20

No motorstand

Generel not feeling like a premium product

I am saving up for a B&O OLED now, the Eclipse, maybe? but I have time to wait and see.

Have any bought a Loewe, Sony, Panasonic, LG..... and your experience going from a B&O?

Still convinced some of these (Danish) posters are paid B&O evangelists from the press department :)

I don't think anyone is going to come on here and say that moving from a B&O to a regular TV is going to be a pleasant or improved experience. Who could possibly say moving to a basic LG is going to blow their mind? Seems like a really odd question to me. Of course it's a downgrade.

Using B&O speakers with loewe tvs is easy i've done it before as their is an option to tell the tv that active speakers are being used in the speaker menu setting.

you would need the digitalaudiolink adapter from loewe sold separately and necessary cables for the speakers and your good to go, using the tvs remote to control the sound.

Hi Markiedee

when you connect Beolabs to a Loewe TV, using the Digital Audiolink adapter, can you then still use the Loewe TV speaker as center speaker?

I find it very important to have a decent center speaker, and for me, this is one of the advantages of having a B&O TV combined with Beolabs.

I actully just sold my shares of the Company but else i guess it was true :)

I find the question very relavant as many people are talking about alternatives that are better because of the cost.

But I would like to know if peope find this saving better then the missing experience.

And I would like to hear from people who actully have done this!

Unrelated, but Emil how do you use your Transmitter 1?

Actually I have sold it, as I only have stereo now

But first I used it with a Yamaha reciever, pre-out to transmitter and then Wireless to Beolab 17 and Beolab 19. And then Projector for screen.

Later I used it with a Marantz Reciever, pre-out to Beolab 17 as back speaker and Beolab 20 as front.

Now I have pre-out with cable to Beolab 20 as the delay when turned on was irritating.

But I had no problem with dropout and such very stable.
