I was suprised yesterday that my Beoplay V1 presented me with the software update 1.0.11.37484 dated 01-09-2017. The release notes only says: Your TV is updated with new software.
Does anyone know what's in this software release or if there is any know problems with it before i install it?
In a way I'm impressed. The TV is over 5 years old and still getting updates.

My V1 has not yet received the update.
Do we know when the update will be available to everybody? Or should we ask our dealer?

Thanks for pointing me there . I installed the update yesterday and it doesn't seem to break anything for me . Can't . speak for the Deezer and Spotify related things as I don't use either of these services.
Could be nice If Bang & Olufsen would describe what's in the updates. But again I must admire that they are pushing updates to this over 5 years old TV.
Does anybody have a clue when the update is pushed to Holland?
After a week still no update received on my V1, hopes this will not take to lang anymore!

Although i have auto updates set to on, i am not sure if it applied it automatically

Available in Holland for download with TV. But, so far as I can see, only BL50 added in speaker selection.
After update, BL2 missing in my speaker groups.
Spotify away, Deezer (low-res) added.
No update in Germany so far....
Anyone who installed the update and uses Deezer?

I installed the update. Deezer isn't working anymore. There is just a black screen....
Tonight in Germany. But did not got the time to check what‘s new (if ever).
Harry:My BV11 was updated this morning. Deezer works again directly from the remote control.
Same here - maybe I should consider reactivating my old Deezer Account ;-)
Then again - now I can start Spotify Connect on my Essence and listen on my V1 in the other room....
....either by joining-in or by using the app.
For people with e.g. a BV11 as their main/only system it is great that they reestablished Deezer support - after the Spotify app failure.
which other company would do that for a 4-5 year old tv?

I thought one of those latest update solves the problem of playing Losless Apple Audio files (m4a using ALAC) with my BV11.
When trying to play such a file my BV11 freezes.
Files are on my Synology NAS. Refering to https://www.bang-olufsen.com/~/mediaV3/Files/User-Guides/BeoVision11/Supported-Formats/Supported_formats-pdf.pdf it should work -or am i wrong?

I am really happy with the fact that we can now enjoy Spotify in multi-room across my Essence in the kitchen, and the V1/BL9's in the living room. Well done B&O.
I will now have to think whether I will cancel my Deezer subscription or not. I subscribed to Deezer, next to Spotify, to have multi-room capabilities. I can do the same now with Spotify!
Deezer offers the advantage of having a nice in-app experience with the B&O App (I am a beta user). Spotify still requires to work with two apps, or the Spotify App and the BeoOneRemote to join. So it is a bit less user friendly. On the other hand, I do like the spotify curated playlists better...

A bit of a related question: does B&O now also allow Spotify Connect in Multi-room between Essence and A6 or M5? Or is this not possible yet? I recall there were restrictions imposed by Spotify, which did not allow this. In case it is possible, I might go for an A6 or M5 in my study, and remove my Sonos installation

In the list of supported formats I see no support for ALAC. Data with the suffix m4a are not absolutely ALAC.
My BV11 is also updated but the Deezer just freezes on the startupsccreen. Any advice?

Is not very responsive, when you do a search - but one can get used to that....I guess.
Did you try to reboot the BV?
I did not do it/have to do it - but worth a try.

I had a similar experience the first time I tried to launch Deezer.
However, it worked when I tried the next day, without doing any specific changes. Nevertheless, I find the Deezer App on the V1 very slow and not userfriendly. I prefer joining the V1 to Deezer on my Essence, using the App. Works much faster!
You‘re right. There‘s nothing about Apple Lossless.
So i think i ripped my CDs Lossless and the BV could not play these. So sad.
Deezer on my V1's not working, just black screen. Trying for several days now and sometimes the message "service not available" appears, somethimes just nothing.
Deezer on Horizon and Moment is working just fine so no internet thing. Any ideas what can cause this? For my V1's Deezer is not that important because they join in on multiroom play from Moment, but strange that some of the members have no problem activating Deezer and others seems to just cannot get it to work.
Before I re-activate my Spotify Premium account I would like to know if the new Spotify Connect feature on V1/BV11 will work with a Beoplay M5 in a multiroom setup. Has anyone tried this?

Not that I have tried exactly that, but since you write 'Spotify Connect feature on V1/BV11', I guess you mean with e.g. an Essence set to share the speakers of the tv. There is no native Spotify Connect support on these tv's!
And since I can join in to a Spotify Connect/BS Essence session from my V1 (in another room), I suppose, that you can do the same with the M5.
But interesting - if someone could try out that user case also, it would be nice.
It works with BV11 speakers via Beoplay M5 also, and I can navigate in the Spotify playlist using the "<<" / ">>" Beo4-keys via the BV11.

So I Updated the TV and deezer loads.
Problem is i cannot login, I checked my details on the app multiple times but it will not log in on the damn TV
