Dear members,

Can anyone give me some directions how to spot the difference between BL6000 mk1 and mk2?

From which serial number starts the mk2 range?

From the inside I know that you can recognize the mk2 from the silver amplifier, from outside there ought te be different color on the base plate but I'm not sure what the difference could be.

Thanks for sharing.

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !

Found this picture. Not sure if it helps or if it is right.

Thanks Leo!

I'm also curious at what serienumber the mkII was introduced. I was told that the mkII has a significant better bass production than the mkI, and can compete with BL4000 from that time on. I always loved the design but was not attemped by their sound performance. With mkII that could change

I think I read somewhere that mk2 is from 2006 and forward.
