Hello,

When I want to check the battery state I press Stand By and the center button and select the corresponding option on the screen. So far so good. But how can I prevent shutting down my TV, when I want to check during watching TV.

I skip into the initial screen, where I can select a zone. But as soon as i press Stand By and the center button of ny Beo6, it also send a stand by ir command. What can I do to stop sending the IR stand by command.

Regards

hfat

Hi burantek,

really great idea. Why in hell it did'nt come to my mind. You're a genius.

I was hoping, there is a more comfortable solution, as the config tool is showin no IR code when pressing stand by in scense selection screen

I check my Beo5 in the following manner;

1. Take it from table

2. Press a button

3. Put back in charger

The Beo5 is ALWAYS without battery. Why need to check?

Too long to list....

Geeked

Well... I think the real question is doing the test in the room w/o having to move to another... I will try and have a play later!

I found the solution in assiging a dummy IR command (in my case unmute) to the standby button in the scene selection screen.

So no StandBy command is fired when pressing standby+center button to activate setup screen.
