Hi,

what is the recommended tracking force on a Thorensgram 3000 with a SP12?

+ have any of you replaced the spring that goes from the black ring on the tonearm? If so, what did you use?
In my infinite wisdom I mislaid the one on mine and I'm at a complete loss as for what to use. I know, I had no business taking it off in the first place.

Officially 1.2 g but tune it by ear.

The spring is what generates the down force - see here

Finding a new spring could prove interesting! You could ask Frede as he restores these decks. He did mine and it is brilliant!
