Hi, I have a BeoVision Eclipse 65 and really enjoy it, and I want to play with the technical possibilities that it offers. And therefore I would like to keep up with what is offered in new software updates. Here is what I got from my dealer.
As I understand it from my dealer the LG updates are pushed to the LG panel when the SoundCenter are updated.
Version 1.0.14310. Release date 27-08-2017
Symptom:
General improvements
I think this thread is a great idea to help keep track of software bug fixes for the BV Eclipse.
During the few weeks I've had Beovision Eclipse, I have several times experienced losing control of the TV with the remote control, some features work but I cannot turn off the TV and have to switch off at the power outlet.Someone who has experienced similar.

I have had no problems with my remote, since I got mine a month ago.
Do you have the latest software?
I also have issues with the remote and turning the TV off.
Since Millemissen didn’t reply, I must react : this is not a bug, it’s a feature!!
why on hearth would you want to turn off your Beovision, it HAS to be on all the time!! ;-)

I have no personal/at home experience with the BV Eclipse.
Some day - m’bee - who knows.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
And yes, I have the latest software. At least it seems I’m not the only who have experience issues with turning off the TV.
New firmware was released yesterday by LG. Version 04.70.10.
I saw my eclipse installed an update today. Does anybody know what it covers
Not alot of active people in this thread. A pitty.
I think the latest update was just general bug fixes.
Sorry for not being too active - I try to update the original post whenever I get info. At the moment I just write my dealer whenever I notice a new update on my Eclipse

Same problem here 🙄
New update. Any improvements?
Hi, I have updated the latest i have from my dealer in the original post
I was pushed new software last night. It fixes the one and only issue that I have had with this TV - multi-room distribution of TV audio had stopped working. Now it works. We love this TV.

Any news on integration with ML via the NL/ML Converter?
Thanks - yes, the Eclipse is different!
However, as long as I use the Join command, I can listen into what is playing.
If you e.g. have a ML-based audiosystem in the same room (set to Option 0),
you can start that manually, push Join on the remote...and listen on the Eclipse, right?
Not the best way, but still there is no need to get rid of an existing ML system, if you don’t want to.
How about the other way ‘round?
Can you map the sources from the SoundCenter (and maybe those from the tv/connected devices) in the Converter, in order to use these in the ML setup?
If yes, this would give some value to the old system.
I get same and need to manually switch off the picture from the remote.
Beolab 18 (oak, white and walnut), Beolab 19 (white), Beolab 17 (aluminium), Beovision Eclipse 55, Beoplay E8 (charcoal sand), Beoplay H9i (black), a house full of Sonos, Synology NAS, Spotify user.
Ok quick update. I used to get a green screen when playing Sonos connect through the optical connection until my installers, heroically back for day two to work through some issues on first install , performed a factory reset. That glitch no longer occurs and when playing Sonos as a music source the screen is always black - unless displaying volume change info.
Any news on when "my buttons" will work?
I have updated the original post with the latest info from my dealer.
I am still waiting for a solution to the 4K pass through problem, when plugged in directly to the soundcenter.
Seems like the green screen problem have been solved by sw 1.4, have a look at the original post.
