I have a beovision avant 55 which is wirelessly connected to a pair of Beolab 18.

When i open the Deezer app on my Iphone, i have difficulties to stream the music.  I can stream using Apple TV but then the TV screen lights up.

Is there a way to stream using google cast ?

When i open the Deezer app on my IPhone,n  i can stream using google cast to one of my beoplay products (for example beoplay M5), but the Beovision Avant does not appear in the list of potential devices to stream to using google cast.

I have also tried the B&O app which i installed on my Iphone: i can select the Beovision Avant but when i want to play music a message appears (the selected product does not support playing Deezer content). This is very weird : I traded Spotify for Deezer as it seems to be more compatible to B&O. And then when i use the B&O app I cannot stream to the Beovision. And if I use the Deezer app on my Phone, i can only stream via Apple TV.

Anybody who knows what the problem might be ?

Hello,

If this is BeoVision Avant MKI, that means it does not built in Google Cast.  In this case, you can go to the menu of BeoVision Avant, choose SETUP, choose PRODUCT INTEGRATION, choose SETUP (red), choose BeoPlay M5.  After this, your BeoVision Avant MKI will have the JOIN function enabled, so it can join in the existing Deezer stream from your BeoPlay M5.  You must use the Bang & Olufsen app to start the stream of music to M5, then use your BeoRemote One to choose the SOURCE LIST in Avant MKI, and at the bottom of the SOURCE LIST will be MUSIC (Deezer) from BeoPlay M5.  Once this is playing your can use your BeoRemote One to select PICTURE MUTE so that the screen of the TV is not illuminated.  If you don't want the M5 playing at the same time, you can simply turn the volume down manually.

Hi Thank you

Actually , streaming from beoplay M5 to Beovision

already works perfectly. But the thing is : one should be able to stream directly to the main system (Beovision and beolab 18), rather then

having to go first through beoplay M5.

Imagine if we did not have a multiroom set up and no beoplay devices,

what would be the optimal way to stream from deezer ? Is Apple TV the only option?

Or is the only option to buy a Beosoumd Moment ?

thanks again

Philip

You could connect a ChromeCast Audio device to the digital-in of the tv.

Or you could have a BS Essence connected, that uses the tv as the speaker...

....more sophisticated, but kindof overkill, somehow.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

thanks, it seems the new b&o beosound CORE with chromecast is a potential solution

if i am not mistaken you can only connect two speakers to the b&o essence

You can connect more speakers, if you want - but it will only be a 2 channel/stereo solution.
