Hi,
I'd like to buy a pair of Beolab 4 floor stand but I'm not quiet sure if with this stand we can hide the cables or not. Any clue ?
thanks a lot.
I believe not Bophile. I've seen them in the cable sleeve the B&O provide
I hope that helps :)
Check this beautiful ski chalet and there is a bedroom with them and a BV7

No worries :)

Unfortunately not - STB Brackes provide adapter plates for BLb 4 on BLb 3 stands if you want to hide the cables.
Floorstands Beolab 4 has a plastic ring attached and movable, so cables are clearly visible. Must have a pair somewhere.....

Clearly, if one wants to conceal the all the cabling wires, the Beolab 3 stand with the STB brackets is a better choice. That hollow stand provides a clean look, at least down to the floor, where the cables can be hidden by carpeting, or inside the wall covering treatment ( a false wall for flatscreen, drywall, etc. )..
My wife and I bought a set of Beolab 4 speakkers and two BL 4 stands. The resulting look was somewhat akin to " cables wrapped around a pole, pinched together by a plastic ring. " Not a very tidy look, which distracted from the design of the speakers themselves.
I returned the stands that week to the dealer, who was attentive enough to replace them with the BL 3 stands. The STB bracket set was also purchased from the store as they have an account with STB. Well worth the extra small cost.
The hollow stand poles are also a better choice with the Beosound 4 for the same reason, if you choose to place it on a stand rather than a bracket or directly onto a surface.
Paul w .. Have you stayed in them ski chalets? They look the bees knees. I don't think id want to leave.
This is how these stands looks like
Leslie;
Thanks for the photo link.
Appropriate for a Halloween joke, training for tripping-safety hazards, or a prop in a Tim Burton movie. Ugh 1
With all the years of good design in stereo equipment, hollow stands, and related furniture like the Attyca 2 ( with the cable-wiring columns hidden ), I cannot understand how B&O allowed this and the Beosound 4 stand combination to then be marketed.

That was my first impression too when I installed my Beolabs 4.
