Hello !
There are problems with the amplifier. One work great, another one faulty. After a while, it sounds like a contact error(crackling sound), then it stops, the led will be orange. After restarting work fineIt is when it turns off after 5 minutes, when it turns off later. (work 5-6 hours, and the led goes orange, and not work)What could be the problem?
I use my Penta from PC.
Best regards
Welcome to Beoworld!
- Cracked solder joints at the driver transistors and where the ribbon cable from the front panel meets with the amplifier board.- Bad capacitors.- Bad idle current trimmer.- Any combination of the above.

Hello!
Many thanks for fast reply!
if I use it to service, can it be worse? Can be bigger damage?
Steve
It may just stop working altogether at some point, or it may go with a bang and cause more damage. That depends on where the problem is.It will not get better by itself.
Thank you for your reply.
In this case I will not use it, just after the service.
Are there easily replaceable components or are specially made difficult to obtain?
I doubt you will have to replace any components, other than perhaps a trimmer or two (and then adjust). But all electronic components in the Penta amps are fairly common.
This is good news thank you for the reply Martin.
All the best!
