Dear members,
how can I best connect a Beogram CDX to the Beomaster 6000 Quad? Would the Aux Input be ok for this endavour?
Thanks!
Kai
AUX or Tape.
Martin
Thanks Martin. But connections don't seem to fit. The CDX only has RCA. So I need some kind of adapter? Thanks, Kai
Yes, you can get a RCA to DIN adaptor from ebay or amazon etc.

Thanks very much. Works fine with Tape. But I get heavily distorted sound when using Aux. Since I also use a tape deck with the 6000, that's not optimal. Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks again!
I once had a similar problem with a Beocenter 2500. I got an intense buzz from one powerlink socket. Took it to a repair shop and with little effort it was all good again. However, I'm also not sure what the cause in this case was.
The CDX sounds great with the 6000 Quad by the way...
Just to resolve the issue. There is a pushbutton at the bottom of the Beomaster. If pressed down you can use Aux with a CD player. If released the internal RIAA is active and Aux is for connecting a Beogram (4000 for example). So the butto was in wrong position for my use with the CDX. The Beomaster 6000 quad is really versatile...
