Hello!
First post!
I was wondering if anyone could help on which cartridge models work on the Beocenter 7007 and on any good online stores selling them!
Thank you

Welcome to Beoworld.
The Beocenter 7007 is a very fine piece with a good quality record deck. I owned one for a while and loved it. The deck will only take the B&O MMC 1-5 series of cartridges, the last pick-ups made by B&O. Sound quality is reflected in the numbers with MMC1 offering the best and MMC5 the worst although 'worst' is a relative term here. The problem is that B&O haven't made cartridges for over 20 years so you have two options.
One is to buy a new cartridge made by Soundsmith in the United States. These cartridges, called SMMC to distinguish them from the originals are very well made and offer a bright, clean sound but are not cheap.
The other alternative is to source a used one, perhaps through a well known on-line auction site. This can be a risky business and good examples can be pretty expensive. In addition, old cartridges will, sooner or later have problems with the suspension as well as stylus wear or damage. There are companies that specialise in rebuilding old MMC cartridges to various specifications and there are a number of threads on this site that refer to them. I've used a couple of these specialists and have been very happy with the results.
Arguably the best approach might be to source a 'tired' MMC1-5 and have it refurbished to the specification that best suits your needs and your budget.
