Hi all,

Just received my Beoplay E8's and am happily trying them out. I found however something that seems strange to me - I can only activate the transparency mode at times when there's audio being played on the earbuds. If there is no audio being played, it doesn't seem possible to turn transparency on.

Even more, if I turn transparency on while playing audio and then pause the audio, transparency mode goes off.

Am I missing something obvious here? It seems to me indeed very handy to be able to turn on transparency even when there isn't music being streamed, then I can just leave the earbuds on and don't need to take them of if I need to talk to someone or hear announcements when in public transport.

cheers,

S.

Yes.  I'm observing the same behavior. It doesn't make any sense to me. You should also be able to enter transparency mode when no music is playing. Also I think it should pause the music when you enter transparency mode in "ambient" mode. Can somebody at B&O please take notice and make sure this gets changed in an update?

When I have ambient mode turned on I dont hear any music. Should I at least hear a little bit of music and this is the lowest transparency mode.

Hi, i've the same problem... :( ... and from today when i put the earbuds on, the automatic connection with the phone's bluetooth doesn't work anymore... i need to put the connection on "manually"...

For a product that cost over 250$ i think is a very shame...

Do you know if  there are some kind of new software release to fix all of this troubles?
