For this issue, I may have a suggestion. You can put the power cables in a conduit and then put that conduit along with the powerlink cables in another conduit. This way, you will only have one visible conduit.
In fact, I was also going to do the same at my place but just got lazy. I will also do the same today. It is always a good idea to separate the power cables from any audio carrying cable.
@svinaik, have separeted powerlink + power cable of both BL9 speakers. Does not have an impact
Because I´m using 2 pcs. Brennenstuhl BF3000 connection plug boards I do not understand my problem.
LOEWE bild 5.55 OLED + AppleTV; BS4; BL9; BL8000 MKII all black
A hum - sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere. Maybe one of the speaker wire terminations? You need to hope it's the wires/ power cables because other issues could be expensive to sort.
Loewe Bild 7.55 - Beolab 8000 (Mk2) - Beolab 3 - Almando Multiplay - Oppo 4K Ultra HD UDP-203.
I am in the middle to pull the trigger for the Loewe Bild 7 65" (in Germany they have a great cashback offer!). I want to have a good surround set-up and next to my BL 6000 speakers was offered a (second-life) refurbished set of BL 8000 and BL 2. All linked together with the Almando surround decoder . Do you think this is a good set-up? Which speakers should be in front ( I saw pictures with the BL 6000 in front, but I thought it should be the other way around)? Only I am sad to leave my trusted BV Avant 32" behind.
Grtz Paul
@Paul.. I cannot speak to the BL 6000 or 8000 but just a suggestion, if you are buying a set of speakers, why not audition the Loewe KLANG speakers. I did listen to KLANG 5 and found them to be real nice speakers also.
TO be on a full disclosure, I have the B&O BL 50 as the front speakers and use BILD7 TV speaker as the center speakers and I do not use anything for rear surround the as I am very short on space in my main room.
In my setup. I found the Loewe TV (center speaker) blends very well with BL 50.
Just another thought to consider....
I also have a Beosound 3000 system that I want to keep. It is easier to integrate with the BL speakers I think in combination with the Almando box. Btw BL50 is looking very nice.
Sorry for entering an older topic. I own a Beovision Horizon from 2016. After the well known continuous software issues, the Horizon was replaced by a brandnew one (in three moments time after the purchase of the Horizon). It has never been rock solid but since the latest update it became bearable. However, the bugs slowly but surely came back again and this summer I decided to do a factory reset and reinstall the unit. It however it never became stable and in fact the behaviour of the Horizon became totally unbearable.
We decided to dump the Horizon. We however wanted to keep our 4 Beolabs 3 and Beolab 11. It soon became clear that B&O was not the way to go (anymore). We cannot place the Eclipse (the TV is on a cabinet) and the Countour is way to expensive and cannot be combined with our Beolabs.
We decided to switch to a brand-new Loewe Bild 7.55 Oled (NOS) in combination with the Almondo Multiplay Surround switch. We have a 4k Apple TV, so the smart TV limitations of the Bild 7.55 compared to the most recent oleds should not be a problem. The whole Horizon experience, the the fact that B&O simply 'forgot' their clients with an Android-based Beovision, combined with the dismantling of the dealer network is very disappointing.
This topic convinced me that the Bild / Almond option is actually the way to go in case you want to keep your 'older' Beolabs.
