My son managed to put a pair of H2 ANC headphones through the washing machine. Having dried them out in the airing cupboard for a week, they work as normal headphones, but not as ANC headphones. As you'd expect, the two year warranty excludes water damage.

After less than a five minute charge, the green light comes on. Attempt to use them, the light goes red, then off in quick succession.

My guess is that for starters I need to open the "disk" and wash the circuit board with isopropyl alcohol. Any ideas on how to pop off the disk, whilst doing the least damage?

Just an update, for anyone else with the same problem...

Popped the cover off, washed PCB in Isopropyl (needed to do it twice) and it's good as new. My son's very happy.

Hey Mark

I know it's been a while but I was wondering if you would be able to send me a photo of how the wiring of the circuit board should be because I happened to rip out the wires straight from its soldering and you seem to be the only forum on here that seems to have been willing to open the "disk" lol. Please help because I love these headphones and I really want to fix them.

Thanks alot

I took this one at the time. I'm not sure what resolution you'll get here - the original is 3264x2448 pixels and it's under the Media tab, in B&O products.

If you need something more, just let me know.

Thanks so much man for the quick reply. Is there any way to get photo of where each wire is meant to go (the side that goes from the disk to the headphones itself not to the jack) because I need to resolder all of them back to the circuit board. Thanks again

I'll try to get the disk opened again at the weekend and take a picture. If you haven't heard from me by Monday, it means I've forgotten - so send me a reminder!

I'm sorry, but I found that I couldn't open it without damage to the casing. It must have been easier when it was wet, but now that it's dry it has become quite tight. As you might expect, I don't want to get it wet again, just to pop off the top.

I'm afraid that the best I can suggest at the moment is to look carefully at the version of my picture under the Media tab. It's much clearer than the one above, and you can actually see where most of the wires go.
