Hello all
My wife thinks £14K or more on a new beovision 7-55 3d is too much, especially when she can buy a 55 inch panasonic 3D and have £11K or more left over.
However I already have the following
BV-3 (playing up and PSU buzzing) beolab 8000 front 6000 rear and beolab 2 sub. and a beosound 5 with all our rmusic on it.. I also have masterlink to another room with another tv and a beolab 3500. PLUS I have a B&O version lutron light controller that works off my beo4 remote. All of this (except the BV-3) i'd like to keep. ( we also have beo com phones which usefully turn the sound up and down)
So.. the question is this, If I buy a beosystem3 3D is it easy enough to add a samsung 3d tv to it? and save a bunch of money, (how much is a beosystem 3 3D?)
OR is it possible to connect the rest up together with a,n,other solution. i.e. drive all the B&O speakers via something connected to the TV audio output? ( i know I'll lose the masterlink, lutron and phone interfaces if I go that way)
Thanks
Chris
... 10th of Oktober a new B&O TV will be unveiled ...
Solution 1 - Beosystem 3 3D with DVB-HD:
it is definitly possible to connect another screen to the BS3, as the output to the screen is through DVI, (at least it is on the old BS3). The BS3 3D is 58.000kr in Denmark, equivalent to 10000US$ or 7780€. Solution 2:
it is also possible to connect the beolabs to a surround processor or amplifier with line output. Peter Pan from our forum has some great pictures/explanations on how to do this.
Is that the 65 inch beovision 12 at £17K or something else and more affordable?
Solution 1 is a probably £6K plus a TV at, say £3K, sounds a lot better than £16K I'd still need to but the blue ray 3d player but they are not expensive.
Solution 2 I'll take a look at Peter Pan's explanations on how to do it, although I still hate the idea of losing the masterlink
Many thanks
