I am finally integrating all my disparate pcs and was looking for a bit of advice.

I was thinking to connect ml from ouverture to the bv5 with the beolabs connected as they are to ouverture.i have a airport express hooked to the ouverture and will have an apple tv at the bv5.

My question is what setting on the bv5 to have the ouverture play through when not on aux( my iTunes airplay)

i.e radio cd and yes the occasional tape . I do have dreams of reintegrating my phono but at a later date.

The bv5 will be about fifteen feet( 3m) from the ouverture and speakers opposite the room .

The current airport express apple tv setup idea Should work as mutilple sources streaming from iTunes . Currently working on both leveled of the house with three separate sources connected to individual airport expresses

Bv5 arrives this week from storage!

Thanks in advance.

To answer my own question.

Both bv5 and ouverture in option 1

Speakers connected to overture ml connection b bv5 and ouverture

Using av function for speaker 5 setup

Airport express receiving audio from Mac iTunes .In addition Play station mac media server as DVD sending all

Movies from Mac to bv5 .

Some advice

Also if you have an early bv5 and no devices attached it may decide to stubbornly assume to not show any sources or menus making one assume erroneously that there is a non functioning module .. Test the pc connection as it is a by pass to the screen and will let you know whether the screen is working . Also test the av ( source) audio function as it should give you access to the menu function ( menu) (menu) thus also confirming a working unit. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Had a bit of a scare when setting up after the move. Thought I would pass on a lesson learned.
