Hi,
I have a Beovision 10 which had a faulty MasterLink Module.
Last month my dealer was here and changed the module. He told me, that he made a software update,
it was listed in the invoice as well. But as far as i can see the software level did not change.
It was Build 237 before and after module change, isn't build 239 the lastest software? My 8-40 has already 239.
However now the build and the system module are listed red! I never mentioned this before.
My dealer did not answer yet. Is there a problem with build 237 and the new module (50xx).
The old systemmodule was something like 30xx.
Unfortunately i could not test the new masterlinkmodule, because i bought an new Beovison for my main room and the Beovision 10 rests in the cellar awaiting a new purpose.

got some news from beocare now:
Software Build 227 does not fit to the systemmodule software 50.06d, 50.06d needs the latest Build 229. A software Update to Build 229 will solve the red marked entry problem. Build 227 has normally 50.06a for the systemmodule MKII
They adviced me get the latest software, but noticed that in daily use this will cause no problems at all.
Yes, it is the problem with the module and it needs to be get repaired or changed and for that, you need to contact the experts and I would suggest you take the help from Geek Squad as they are the world leader in resolving this type of errors at the reasonable price or you can get it repaired from your mechanic.
Probably a silly question: where do I find the information about sw version?
I've been browsing around in the menus but can't find the place.
Thanks
