I messed up - big time. Having found myself a very pretty BM4400, it was time to clean up the 4000 and make it ready to sell (I just like the silver face, that's all). I shined it up and took a bunch of photos. Got all I needed, up to getting a shot of the Type label on the back. Stupidly, I lifted the rear a few inches into the air, then, it slipped, hit the table with a big thud.

I gradually got up the courage to plug it back in and see if the drop caused any....yup, it did. No left channel audio at all. Right channel has a medium-large hum to go with the audio. It was working fine before.

I was hoping to get big bucks for it. Now, I suppose I can sell it "for parts". Unless someone has an idea where to look.??
