Hallo zusammen,
seit einigen Jahren erfreue ich mich am Beocenter 9500. Trotzdem hatte ich es jetzt für ca ein Jahr außer Betrieb und stelle bei Wiederinbetriebnahme (was für ein Wort!) fest, dass beim Ausschalten des Geräts ein Motor anläuft, Es klingt wie der Motor des CD-Fachs, der die bereits geschlossene Klappe schließen will. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, dass das früher so gewesen wäre und fände es auch B&O-untypisch, einen Motor sirren zu lassen, wenn es nicht erforderlich ist.
Das geschieht übrigens unabhängig von der gehörten Quelle; auch wenn ich nur Radio gehört habe, sirrt der Motor beim Ausschalten.
Ist das vielleicht normal und ich hab's nur vergessen? Oder ist es nicht normal und jemand hier hat eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?

The Beocenter always closes the doors when going into standby (it would stand there looking untidy if it didn't).
You can hear the motor run for a few seconds because the belt has started to slip due to aging.
That's normal.
If the motor continues to run beyond the few seconds it normally takes to close the door, it must be diagnosed.

and thanks for the reply.
I understand it is normal to close an open door, but the door is already closed because I did not use CD at all in my radio listening session.
The motor runs approximately as long as it wold take to close the door.
Is this behavior also normal?

The Beocenter doesn't always know when the doors are opened or closed (there are no sensors), so it issues a close command to bothdoor motors when it goes into standby (and in some Beocenter versions also when mains is plugged in).
All normal.Apart, perhaps, from the slipping belt, which will eventually fail to pull the door. You will know when that happens and replace the belt.
