Hi all,

I've recently noticed that I'm lacking High tones from right speaker (after eliminating all the obvious by trying swapping channels and feed from other units I've investigated closely and sure enough the tweeter appear to be dead.

I've tweeters from 3702's taken apart and the only difference seem be their appearance - see photos, can any one tell me if there is any other difference in-between those two pictured?

I've change the original AD 0161/T8 with AD 0160/T8 and I cannot hear difference and specification seem be exact, but it does look slightly different in finish (I be happy change the other one as I have spare, shall there be more differences between them)

They're now back at ear level and filling the room with lovely sound again:

Frets haven't been put on for some strange reason in the picture and I still haven't got money for better camera Wink

If you cannot hear the difference, this would be good enough for me! Some of my favourite speakers - I have a pair resting under my bed - must get them out some time!

Yeah Peter, it is for me and I have "whacha call" absolute music hearing Whistle, sadly I've sold other pair with Beomaster 3000-2, but agree they're very good speaker indeed, although I cannot wait to replace them with the "original match" BeoVox 3702 (awaiting woofer from good Marin) Wink

P.S. good on you - I haven't got space under the bed - it's all filled with money Big Smile

Hi Bob,

I'm sure I have a spare tweeter from a pair of S45.2s somewhere which you can have. Let me know if you are interested.

I am sure the 3702s will be good, but keep hold of the S45s. They really are excellent!

Hi Cleve,

am I interested? of course I am (could you look at the tweeter's back / part number to match AD0161/T8) as those are bit shinier than AD0160/T8, but won't want to pay fortune for it as I have other AD0160/T8 and can match them up ;)

but it may be good reason to put the kettle on (just hope you're not yet another early bird Whistle) and meet (perhaps even chat about your son's BC's?)

thank you and looking forward hearing from you/meeting you
