BV 12-65 - from wall mount to floor stand?

We consider buying a preowned BV 12-65. And we then want to place the 12-65 on a Motorized Floor Stand (eBay or similar).  But most/all of the avaliable BV 12-65 are sold as the wall mount version only.

However, one of the seller said that it is not possible to use a floor stand on a BV 12-65 that has the been delivered as the wall mount version. Is that correct? Will the wall mounted BV 12-65 miss some brackets/covers that are needed if a floor stand is to be used?

Yes, that’s correct. To put BV12 wall version on the floor stand, the back panel of the tv has to be changed to the floor stand version.

And I assume that it's not easy these days to order a new back panel from B&O for the BV12, or should that be possible?

One foreign dealer claimed that it was only BV12-65 NG (Beosystem 4) that could be mounted on a motorized floor stand - is that correct? I.e. that the BV12 mk1 cannot be mounted on a floor stand? 

The BV12-65 is in my opinion the most beautiful picture I have ever seen on any TV ever no matter when in history.

When B&O introduced BV12 65 NG - offered the options: wall bracket or floor stand. On the NG you could swap the back panel - wall version to floor stand. Not sure if back panel from NG will fit on the old one.
