Depends a bit on what you listen to or watch, but probably yes. I would suggest a bl11 or a bl19 if you want to upgrade later to bl18’s/bl8000’s.

It was for me. Some movies cause it to rock the room. BL11 is a little more subtle, but offers the bass you need without the neighbours complaining. When I watched "Valkyrie" (Tom Cruise movie), I remember they were talking quietly on the battlefield so I turned up the volume. They then got bombed and the explosion rocked the room so much the neighbours in the garden outside buzzed me and asked what the explosion was. Oops.

I now have a BL11!

Beolab 2. You can always adjust it down... The Beolab 11 is a little weak

I tried a BL11 for a week end and found it to be a non event as a sub.

A bl2 can as Jonathan says be adjusted down.

the bl2 can have unbearble rumbling bass.

best choice without any drawback : a s8 or bl14 sub if you like the design.

Personally, the only B&O subwoofer I would allow in my house is the Beolab 19.
