Hi Bofans and everyone! I just purchased a beogram cd 4500 (with a beomaster 4500 and beovox rl6000), and it doesn't want to read cd's... It try to, but after 3/5 seconds it automatically stop, and switches off... Anywone knows why?
Thank you by advance my friends and, spend good times for christmas
Hi there.
The CD 4500 has the very reliable old Philips drive - so it is most likely not the laser that is the problem. It is probaby some components in the servo-board that controls the laser - some caps that need to be replaced.
Oh thanks for the answer, it seems like i've heard some storys like that... Do you know what kind of components can be in fault?
Thank you one more time

it is most likely the problem, but I would recommend changing all caps on the servo board.
you can send Dillen(Martin) on this forum an email. He can supply a correct kit including guide to change them.
