Beogram 1100- Help !

I have just bought a beogram 1100 turntable as a surprise Christmas present , I also have a set of beovox S25 4-80hms speakers. I'm hoping that someone can tell me that they are going to work together okay. But I also understand that I need to buy an amp for it all to work and I need advice on which one would be compatible with everything. I was looking at a beomaster 1900 or beomaster 3000-2 online...but then pre amps are mentioned..then got very confused, as you can tell not very knowledgeable on this kind if thing!

Beogram 1100 has no built in preamplifier, so any Beomaster with a phono level input would work.
That's any Beomaster from the late 1960s, the 1970s and early 1980s.
Beomaster 901, 1001, 1100, 1200, 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1900, 2200, 2400, 3000, 4000, 4400, 5000, 6000, 8000 (and the -2 versions).

If you don't need FM radio, but "only" an amplifier, Beolab 1700 could be a good choice as well.

Thank you so much for your help. Is there one particular model that you would recommend ? I received the record player yesterday which has come with rca connectors. Will this actually work with a vintage B O amp, or will it have to adapted  back to a compatible fitting for B & O beomaster ? 

It was originally a 5-pin DIN.
Some versions of Beomaster 3000 will accept RCA plugs, but not all. You will have to check that.

DIN is the european standard.
RCA plugs only came about because the americans just had to have something they could plug in in wrong ways
- Something that doesn't provide all the necessary connections for turntables.

haha! They are very insistent on teaching us in our youth that we are “the land of opportunity and freedom.”

Also, could purchase a female RCA to 5pin DIN adaptor if the Beomaster you choose does not have RCA inputs for phono. Both the BM3000 and 1900 you mentioned are really nice receivers.

An adapter would work.
Get one that goes the right way (play rather than record) and has the extra grounding lead.
