Hello everyone,
I got myself a pair of E8 today. It has worked great so far. My only problem is it doesn't auto reconnect to my phone. I have to go to the phone bt setting, choose the e8 and connect manually. Is this happening for you guys as well?
I'm using samsung galaxy s8. I have tried resetting the e8's bt connections by pressing both ear pads for 10 seconds. Still refuses to reconnect. Firmware is 5.3.0.Thank you so much for your help!
I've been having similar problems when I try and connect with my PC. The E8 never seems to completly unconnect from my phone. But when I go back to the phone it will pair but won't connect. After talking to B&O support I deleted the Beoplay app from my Android phone. Rebooted the phone. Reset the earbuds. Reinstalled the app and it hooked up. It hooks up automatically now but I'm afraid to try to connect with my PC again, which is kind of annoying.
Other than that I love the buds. I'm running Android 8 with 5.2 on the buds.

I have similar error with my samsung galaxy s7 edge the grey color comes with the firmware 5.3.0 out of the box and it is not good there is and error in the firmware. Got a second pair with firmware 5.2.0 and those are working hope they will fix it soon or can we reflash the firmware with 5.2.0 that would be good too for the moment
I reset the e8 twice the other day and suddenly it started to reconnect to my s8 just fine. So it's all good now. running 5.3.0 still.
Before that i had asked B&O support on their FB page and they claimed it was a software issue? to be honest i don't think they really know what the problem is.

I have been plagued with the same issue where the E8 would not auto reconnect to my Samsung Galaxy S8. I also reset the E8 several times and now it works perfectly . E8 on software version 5.4.0
I have the same issue on the auto pairing with my s8. It used to connect automatically when I tapped it. now I have to connect manually in the Bluetooth's menu which is a nuisance. I tried resetting the e8 for several times and still does not reconnect. The firmware is on 5.4.0. Help?
