I just purchased a used BEO 4 remote for my Beosound 2500 CD/Tape unit.

How do I "pair" them. They are currently resistant to talk/listen to each other :-)

Thanks

There is no need to ‘pair’ a Beo4 with your system, it should just work.

1. Are you sure the batteries in the remote are good?

2. Is the system set to option 0 (IR receiver disabled)?

If not there may be a fault on the remote or the IR receiver on the system.

In order to check that the Beo4 is remote is actually transmitting, view the 'transmit' end through the 'selfie' camera of an iPhone.  You should see the IR transmitters flashing as you press the buttons.

Depending on the model of iPhone, this may not be possible through the main front facing camera.

If the Beo4 is transmitting and the BS2500 still doesn't work, come back to us for advice about A.OPT setting (Luke's second point).

And finally there is the (small) possibility that the Beo4 is set to link mode?
